Teacher: So does anyone have any ideas for the theme?
Squeeky: Ooooh! oooh! Ohhh! I do. We could do this, and then....
Teacher: I mean anyone besides squeeky have anything to say?
(grasshoppers)
Teacher: okay, go ahead squeeky.
Well! In pulling it into a environmental kind of theme, I think of a kind of lush environment. A tropical island. A little bottle of rum and thou, kinda place.
We might be able to do something like LOST. We are stuck there and can not get any additional supplies besides what we find there.
This kinda pulls the airport into in a bit.
It also has a very simple theme to expand on. Tiki. Gilligan's Island. Survivor. It also incorporates the theme of the pineapple, which is a
traditional symbol of hospitality. Pineapple is also a common safe word in s & m circles. I mean, so I hear. ;)
Residents of an island like this. The Millionaire. The Movie Star. The Professor. and Mary Ann. okay, okay forget that.
An easy think is the custom of Aloha Friday. Wearing hawaiian shirts. And I don't think you can argue with swimwear. Or no wear.
And monkeys live on the islands. And we love monkeys. And anyone from the underwater theme would be right at home. Especially the art car with the lightbulb hanging over his face, the dangler.
And santa! He needs a place to vacation before the season starts up again.
And tinkerbell lived in the forest with peter pan, and pirates. And so it's a place that faeries would like to hang out. There's a certain magic.
The only thing is that this is a spaceport. So if say Captn Kirk crashed onto this tropical island. That any kind of aliens would be welcome.
Teacher: Well, thank you squeeky. That's quite a world you've got painted there.
Anyone else?

Oh, I mean, yes mistress, of course there is theme.
But we always ignore it.
Anybody remember last year's theme?
... the year before that?
Maybe if the theme were something like:
desert airport with hippie freaks, mile high club, acid zombies,
pancakes, strip searches, good times, nude women ride free,
and stuff.
Maybe then I could remember the theme.

Re: Camp Theme
Thu, January 25, 2007 - 11:53 AMMy "Theme Art" proposal this year will be very straight forward, HIGHLY interactive, and completely theme compliant:
Green Man - at 4000' AGL
There is no better way to turn someone green than by doing negative G pushovers and barrel rolls.
My proposal will include a Pitts something-or-other and funds for enough fuel to keep her belly full
and the participants belly contents all of over the empennage.
Inverted Mile High club anyone?
TB
PS- don't you guys do the Tiki theme every year? I see more Hawaiian shirts out there than on a cruise ship. -

Yes, I think you're right. There's not much going on for theme.
>PS- don't you guys do the Tiki theme every year? I see more Hawaiian shirts out there than on a cruise ship.
trying to keep it simple.
>Inverted Mile High club anyone?
i'm all over that. i was doing flight sim trainings and worked on how long we could fly upside down, spins, etc.
