long time burner, Bill Weir, has brain cancer and hasn't much time left in this life. His "dying wish" is to make it to BM this year. We thought he'd be able to make the drive, but he will not be able to. He founded the Black Rock Yacht Club, and camp members are trying to find a way for him to be picked up at Oakland Airport, flown to the playa on Tues. 9/1, we have a golf cart to get him to our camp (8:30 & outer edge), he'd spend the night, and be flown back to Oakland sometime on Wed. Is there anyone is the pilot community that would consider being a part of this effort? If so, you would help make Bill's wishes come true.
